London Calling

Studying in London has its perks. All the great memories keep having you come back.

In the limited time this time around, we didn't do too bad a job as we stayed at the Courthouse Hotel on Great Marlborough in Soho, conveniently located near all the major shops central London has to offer including  the legendary Liberty London, and shops along Carnaby Street, Regent Street, and Oxford Street as well as the prestigious Savile Row and New Bond Street if you walk more west. Along the way, I spotted Vanessa Gounden's new store space  on Conduit Street waiting to open its doors to the public which is the lime green wall you see in the picture above... go Vanessa! And when we walked Savile Row, we made sure to take a peak at what was in the makes at Huntsman, the legendary bespoke  go-to's who, did you know, played an enormous role in the recent British film Kingsman: The Secret Service? I also learned that Huntsman is a big supporter and sponsor to Prince Harry's Sentebale charity which is pretty neat.

Today was a clean modern look featuring the white blazer and my new crackled white leather J. Crew pumps I've been waiting to break into. Rule of thumb: when wearing skinny jeans with a mid height pump, definitely cuff the hem two to three times to hit right above your ankle. This will keep you looking sharp.
