Christmas in NYC

I am onto my seventh golden year of residing in this beautiful city that I call home. This will be my first Christmas in New York however. Christmas has usually meant traveling - either to my hometown in Los Angeles, spending it in Paris with my little brother, or venturing off to Korea to spend with the relatives, so I wasn't so keen on remaining in the crowded city at first. But I must say, there is nothing like Christmas in this magical city - the lights, the music, the smiles...the holiday spirit is alive and well here and it gets to you. Drop by the Rockefeller Center for just five minutes this season and you'll forget anything else existed.

Thanks to Stoll Knitwear's seasonal showroom sample sales, I found myself the perfect Christmas red knit jacket which has a tweed look and a jacquard feel with dramatic fringes. The only problem that needed to be resolved was how oversized it was on me and perhaps one too many fringes for my liking. I managed to hide the front fringe with my wool scarf and belted the whole thing to clean it up a bit.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
