25

16. That's when I was offered my very last kids menu. To this day my mother insists that it was 18. But I remember the very moment--my 16 year old adolescent self standing at the entrance of the yellow decor of California Pizza Kitchen with my family waiting to be seated--when I was asked the horrible question "do you need a kid's menu sweetheart?" I don't think the lady realized how offensive this was. A sixteen year old is a junior in high school where kids not only think they're adults, they think they rule the world. I for one, had always been extremely sensitive towards this topic and immediately shunned this woman the rest of the evening.

25. This is now what awaits me. Throughout the years of belittlement because of my short height and physique, I made myself believe that once I reach that golden age of 25, [halfway to 50] I would be invincible. Since 25 has not happened to me just yet, I will have to get back to you on that.

Now where were we?
Ah yes, the outfit. So what makes this sweatshirt so special is how deliciously chunky it is while it maintains the perfectly cropped length right above the waist. Throw it over a shirt, a t-shirt, a dress, a romper, some overalls, who cares! The perfect proportion allows it endless opportunities. The jogger on the other hand, marketed as "tights" at the mens store, is by Danish designer Han Kjøbenhavn, a current favorite. His menswear is on point...that is...if you don't mind some slick graphic T's and sweatshirts, actually affordable japanese raw selvage denim produced straight out of Japan, the perfect trench silhouette in tempting colors and the last name Han just to name a few. And just so we're all clear, "tights" for men really just means "joggers" for women.
