A few friends and I took a day trip to Montauk for Memorial Day last week to mark the official start of summer coming off of a horribly long winter. I think we can all agree that New York now only has two seasons, winter and summer.
We didn't actually do much once we got there. It was just good to get away for the day and enjoy the clear air Montauk had to offer.
Our goal was really to check out the lighthouse...unfortunately their doors were closing as soon as we got there.
I wore another shirt by COS for a day at the beach. I know. What's new.
I guess you could say my shirt craze won't be ending anytime soon. After all, they are timeless.
But an item I've recently found to heighten me oh-so-subtly are these platform bluchers or flatforms as many retailers have been calling it. It's easily become my everyday shoe since wearing heels all the time gets old. As long as the shoe is narrow and the toe is pointy enough to give you the slimming effect you need to elongate those legs, it just might be worth the venture.
